Join us! There are three ways for brand partners to get involved:

Core Partners
Core Partners embody the national brand through their services. The core partners’ word and design mark consists of the super symbol and the respective brand name. The country’s name always appears in the brand name, either as a noun or an adjective (Liechtensteinish).

 

Partner
The brand draws strength from its partners’ contributions. In return, the partners enhance the national brand through their contributions. When appearing on a partner’s website, only the basic version of the “Liechtenstein” word and design mark may be used. The word and design mark must be positioned on the partner’s site in such a way that it does not compete with the partner’s own branding.

 


Origin Label High-quality products and services from the country demonstrate their commitment to quality and their origin by displaying the Liechtenstein State Brand origin label. Use of the label is subject to binding, verifiable eligibility criteria. The origin label consists of the super symbol, the description of the offering (e.g., product or expertise), and the designation of origin “Liechtenstein.”

In order to be granted a simple, non-exclusive right to use the state brand, interested parties must meet the criteria of “origin,” “quality,” and “brand values/image.”

Origin:
The "Liechtenstein" brand is a geographical indication of origin that refers to the country of Liechtenstein. It conveys the message that Liechtenstein plays a significant role in the production of the product (or the operation of the business or service) in question. The company’s headquarters or production facility must be located in Liechtenstein.


Quality The customer is given the impression that certain quality and performance criteria were met during the product’s development and manufacture. It is unfair to attribute characteristics to the product that it does not actually possess. For this reason, care must be taken to ensure that consumers are not misled by the use of the Liechtenstein trademark.

Brand Values/Image
The brand user’s products and services must align with the values of the Liechtenstein national brand and Liechtenstein Marketing. They also play a significant role in fostering a positive perception of Liechtenstein.

Other factors include the size of the customer base, market relevance for Liechtenstein, potential for synergy with other products or providers, and sustainability.
