New Tourism Website

The new website for visitors to Liechtenstein is now live, making the digital travel experience even more appealing: visitors can enjoy intuitive navigation, easy booking options, and inspiring content.

May 27, 2025 - With the relaunch of its tourism website (tourismus.li), Liechtenstein Marketing is marking another milestone in its digital transformation. The new website features a modern design with appealing images and videos, improved user navigation, and easy online booking options.

Digital Transformation with Open Data

The project is part of Liechtenstein’s ongoing digital development as a tourist destination and meets international standards for websites. “The website not only has a new look and feel, but also features significant technical advancements that simplify backend management,” says Andreas Batliner, Head of Marketing and Communications at Liechtenstein Marketing. The website is built on “Open Data,” allowing content to be linked with other platforms or apps. “With the open-data foundation, we ensure that content is always up-to-date and visible across various platforms, which is a clear added value for visibility and reach.” Additionally, guests can easily find offers. With just a few clicks, for example, they can access available hotels, experiences, or tours and book them directly online on a single platform.

In the guests’ own language
Particular emphasis is placed on the user experience: guests from both within Liechtenstein and abroad should be able to navigate the new website intuitively. The content is easy to understand and presented in a visually appealing way. In addition to German and English, the website is now also available in French, Italian, and Dutch. These languages reflect Liechtenstein’s current visitor demographics as well as the markets that Liechtenstein Marketing actively targets. Furthermore, the new website meets accessibility standards.
