2026 Winter Olympics
In a nutshell
Liechtenstein Marketing is using the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina as an international platform to raise the Principality’s profile. At the heart of the effort is a creative campaign centered on “Team Liechtenstein: Small country. Big heart.” The centerpiece is a specially branded LIEmobil bus, which will travel to Italy as a mobile “Home of Liechtenstein.”
The Winter Olympics provide a unique platform to raise Liechtenstein’s international profile and inspire people. The project leverages this attention to present the Principality as a sporty, nature-loving, and authentic Alpine nation.
It addresses guests’ core needs—such as nature, physical activity, and authentic experiences—and thereby directly contributes to Liechtenstein’s reputation as a diverse destination.
At the same time, the campaign reinforces Liechtenstein’s positioning as a “hidden gem” in the heart of the Alps and brings the country to life in a surprising and appealing way.
The project directly contributes to the strategic focus: putting Europe at the center, promoting the Liechtenstein brand, and bringing the Principality to life.

The campaign was carried out in collaboration with the Liechtenstein Olympic Committee and LIEmobil. The graphic design was handled by Grafikstudio M. Liechtenstein comedian Moritz Schädler provided support for the social media videos.
