Alpgenossenschaft Triesenberg
With the six alp pastures—Sücka, Bargälla, Turna, Sareis, Alpelti, and Bärgi—and the three cooperative alp pastures, the Triesenberg Alpine Cooperative owns the largest collection of alp pastures in Liechtenstein.
It is dedicated to the sustainable management of the alpine pastures and mountain pastures. Around 100 cows spend the summer on its alpine pastures, and carefully adhering to alpine management guidelines, ensuring animal health, and collaborating with other alpine cooperatives and authorities presents a major challenge. In addition to producing high-quality alpine products such as yogurt and soon-to-be-available sour cheese, sales and distribution on the alp as well as in various shops and restaurants are an important part of the operation. The self-service alpine shop is open 24 hours a day.
The Triesenberg Alpine Cooperative has been a proud partner of the Liechtenstein brand since 2023 and uses the “Product of Liechtenstein” label.
