90% of guests recommend Liechtenstein to others
The guest survey conducted by Liechtenstein Marketing shows a very high Zsatisfaction during stays in the Principality of Liechtenstein: IBetween April 2025 and March 2026, 2,277 guests participated. About 95% rated nature and the landscape positively, and about 90% rated the hospitality positively.
April 22, 2026 - The Principality of Liechtenstein impresses with high guest satisfaction, genuine hospitality, and a wide variety of experiences in a small area. The latest guest survey confirms this and also also clear insights into expectations, needs, and the usesbehavior of guests.
Nature, hospitality, and experiences are what make the difference
The results show a very high level of satisfaction with key aspects of the experience: About 95% of guests rate nature and the landscape positively and and over 90% rate the hospitality positively. Specific offerings are also heavily utilized and appreciated. The launched last year The WELCOME Experience Pass, launched last year, has received around 85% positive reviews from users and confirms its added value for the guest experience.
Liechtenstein’s appeal is particularly evident in the number of recommendations: over 90% of visitors would recommend the Principality as a travel destination.
A solid foundation for further development
The results show how Liechtenstein is perceived as a travel destination and where specific opportunities lie. They serve as a key foundation for data-driven decisions and reinforce the strategic direction.
At the same time, the survey supports the further development of offerings, communications, and services—both at Liechtenstein Marketing and the individual service providers. In doing so, it makes an important contribution to the destination’s long-term competitiveness.

Guests are made aware of the survey through various channels: at the Liechtenstein Center, via mailings, and at accommodation providers & service providers as well as via social media.

The purpose of the survey is to gain a better understanding of guests’ satisfaction, needs, and expectations, and to further develop the Principality’s tourism offerings in a targeted manner.

Participation is anonymous and provides an important basis for quality assurance and the strategic development of tourism in Liechtenstein.
