Liechtenstein wows the crowd in Neu-Ulm

Liechtenstein Marketing was present in Neu-Ulm last week with the House of Liechtenstein. The goal was to specifically target the southern German market and showcase the Principality as a diverse tourist destination.


April 28, 2026 – Over the course of two days, a team from Liechtenstein Marketing showcased the diversity of the Principality in the heart of southern Germany. Through direct interaction with visitors, it became clear that there is considerable interest in Liechtenstein, particularly in its history, economy, form of government, and the Princely Family.

The opportunity to speak with visitors in person provided an authentic glimpse into Liechtenstein as a travel destination. Offers related to hiking, family activities, and stays lasting one or more days were particularly popular. The WELCOME and ALL INCLUSIVE Experience Passes also generated a great deal of interest.

Culinary Highlight

In addition to the information on offer, the food also drew attention: Chef Michael Real brought the flavors of Liechtenstein directly to Neu-Ulm with various Ribel dishes served from his food truck, treating visitors to a delightful culinary experience.

"The Principality of Liechtenstein Visits You" Campaign

The campaign is part of the strategic marketing efforts in the key market of Germany. The goal is to increase Liechtenstein’s visibility and position the country as a “hidden gem” in the heart of Europe.

Through a combination of personal interaction, targeted marketing initiatives, and clear messaging, Liechtenstein is presented as a destination offering a wealth of experiences in a compact area.
