One-Year WELCOME Experience Pass: High Usage and Very Satisfied Guests
Since June 1, 2025, the WELCOME Experience Pass has been the official digital guest card for overnight guests in Liechtenstein. The first year’s results show a very positive trend.
June 23, 2026 - A total of approximately 85,000 guest cards were issued during the first twelve months. The program has thus established itself as an integral part of the tourist experience and reaches a broad target audience.
The digital support is also impressive: The WELCOME app has been used about 4,000 times. It complements the Experience Pass and offers guests an easy way to discover activities, plan their stay, and access all relevant information in one place.
The high level of satisfaction is particularly encouraging: 98% of guests who use the WELCOME Experience Pass are satisfied with the offering. This confirms that the added value for guests is clearly evident, both in terms of using public transportation and the numerous experiences and discounts available.
The WELCOME Experience Pass has successfully established itself in its first year. “The combination of a digital guest card, attractive benefits, and ease of use is winning over guests and shows that Liechtenstein is well on its way to further enhancing the guest experience and developing it in a sustainable manner,” says Ulrike Charles, Head of Tourism at Liechtenstein Marketing.
